KGH Accounting Group was formed by bringing together the experience and expertise of three established accounting practices — Gail Kaczmarowski, CPA, Robert Gerstein, and Frank Haas & Associates. Together, Gail Kaczmarowski, Robert Gerstein, and Frank Haas bring decades of combined experience in accounting, tax, and financial planning, united by a shared commitment to providing personal attention, trusted guidance, and practical solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Gail, Robert, and Frank remain dedicated to serving their longtime clients while working together to broaden the firm’s expertise, capabilities, and resources.

Gail Kaczmarowski

Gail Kaczmarowski is a Certified Public Accountant and Founder of KGH Accounting Group. She brings a strong background in both accounting and financial advisory, offering clients a well-rounded perspective on tax, accounting, and long-term planning. Gail is committed to helping clients simplify their finances and uncover opportunities for growth.
She studied Accounting at Illinois Wesleyan University and after obtaining her CPA, she began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers working with both private and public companies across a wide range of industries. Gail has also partnered with many small business owners, helping them streamline their accounting processes, minimize tax burdens, and make confident financial decisions.
In addition to her accounting expertise, Gail works as a Financial Planner and Advisor with her family’s firm, M-G Financial, Inc. in Northbrook, which specializes in investment advice and holistic financial planning. These multifaceted experiences allows her to provide clients with not only compliance and reporting support, but also forward-looking strategies to build wealth and security.
Raised in Northbrook, where her family business still operates, Gail now lives in Mundelein, IL with her husband Ken and their two-year-old daughter. She values building lasting relationships with clients and approaches her work with a blend of technical expertise and a personal touch.

Frank Haas

Frank Haas is a Certified Public Accountant at Kaczmarowski & Haas Ltd. For more than 35 years, he has advised small to mid-sized businesses, high-net-worth individuals and families on tax planning, accounting, and financial reporting.

Frank began his career with Price Waterhouse before founding Frank Haas & Associates, where he built lasting client relationships through personalized service and practical financial solutions. All client services of Frank Haas & Associates have now transitioned to Kaczmarowski & Haas Ltd, where Frank continues to provide the same trusted expertise under the new partnership.

He also believes in giving back to the community. Frank has served as Treasurer and Board Member for Lake County Haven (a nonprofit serving women and children) and has been Treasurer for the Aptakisic Tripp School District in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Robert Gerstein, CPA

Bob has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, working with successful businesses and high net worth clients. His expertise includes tax planning and preparation of complicated tax returns for businesses and individuals, financial reporting and accounting matters. He has committed to staying current on all matters that affect his clients Bob graduated with honors from Walton College of Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

He is a member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society. Each year he takes continuing education courses on subjects that will benefit his clients.

Stacey Haas

With 11 years of experience in the accounting industry, Stacey is a trusted accounting professional and an integral part of KGH Accounting. She specializes in bookkeeping, individual and business tax preparation, and payroll services; providing clients with the knowledge and support they need to manage their financial responsibilities with confidence.

Known for being approachable, dependable, and thorough, Stacey builds long-term relationships with the clients and takes pride in being someone they can turn to when they have an accounting question or need guidance.

Outside of accounting, Stacey enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
